post World Series Baseball at Southern Hospitality: LET’S GO YANKEES!

October 29th, 2009

Filed under: Celebrity Sightings at SH, Events at Southern Hospitality — Stanley @ 2:43 pm

It seems like only yesterday we were celebrating the start of the 2009 baseball season with Darryl Strawberry and Charlie Hayes, and now we’re watching the Yankees in the World Series against the Phillies.  In fact, yesterday they joined us for Game 1, as Darryl Strawberry rang the cowbell behind the bar and everyone cheered for the Yankees.  The staff is decked out in their Yankee shirts and hats, and we’re giving FREE Bomber shots to any fans who wear their Yankee gear while watching the World Series at Southern Hospitality.  Enjoy $10 pitchers of Miller Lite and Southern Hospitality’s Acoustic Amber as the Yankees fight for their 27th World Series Championship.  With all the games on 14 HDTVs with sound and the large projection screen and tons of fans in pinstripes, watching the game at Southern Hospitality is the next best thing to being at the game yourself.  Plus we’ve got something Yankee Stadium doesn’t: FREE Bomber shots every time the Yankees hit a home run! So put on your Yankee gear and join us for the 2009 World Series at Southern Hospitality.

3rd Avenue All Stars, best 80s Karaoke band ever, were back in the fun-house of Southern Hospitality on Thursday night. Darryl Strawberry and his lovely wife, enjoyed the evening and dined on some delicious BBQ - we were just waiting for Darryl to take the mic and sing 80s Karaoke with 3rd Avenue - that didn’t happen. But a few others that did sing, ladies of the Radio City Rockettes! Southern hosted a bachelorette soiree for this special Rockette. She traveled from her hometown of Dallas, Texas to celebrate her upcoming wedding with her fellow Radio City Rockettes. She chowed down on Southern’s Shrimp & Grits, enjoyed a variety of Southern’s yummy desserts and performed an awesome rendition of “Heartbreaker” - leaving the singleton life behind! You never know the mixture of fun that you’ll get at Southern - every night is full of tasty and deligthful surprises.
